A leading provider of construction and safety signage in Brooklyn, NY is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate should be proactive, adaptable, and capable of handling multiple tasks with efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain relationships with current accounts, providing excellent customer service.
  • Handle light invoicing and collections, ensuring timely payments.
  • Coordinate with outside workers for sign installations and maintenance.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to construction signs and compliance documentation.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for invoicing, tracking payments, and maintaining financial records.
  • Prepare and manage documents using Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Maintain organization and efficiency in daily operations.
  • Add additional services to service accounts and ensure proper documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to be assertive when necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and QuickBooks.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative.
  • Experience in construction-related administrative work is a plus.
