Description
Proactively partner local business and ABF security to manage Security Vulnerabilities across infrastructure. Coordinate User security compliance to minimize risk to business and ABF. Work collaboratively with other IT Team members to implement security solutions while minimizing impact to the users efficiency and productivity.
Monitor computer networks for security issues.
Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents.
Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.
Work with security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
Stay current on IT security trends and news.
Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management.
Stay up-to-date on information technology trends and security standards.
Act as a partner for local IT with the ABM Global, ABF and SSC teams.
Identify information technology solutions to support the business strategies across all business functions.
Help colleagues install security software and understand information security management
Work with key functional peers to identify IT needs, gather requirements and assist in estimating project costs and schedules.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Information Technology or equivalent Experience.
At least two (2) years related experience in the information technology industry, with emphasis with information and data security
Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
Understanding of patch management with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding business impact
Knowledge of current information technologies.
Strong analytical, problem solving, prioritization and communication skills.
Teamwork.
Good written and oral communication and interpersonal relations skills.
