- Responsible for leading and coaching a demand planner all aspects of the company’s volume-based forecast.
- Work with Gain System to identify resources and software configurations in order to gather inputs for demand planning. Create a workflow to capture sales intelligence and new product developments.
- Create, align with stakeholders, and execute operational plans
- Develop key metrics monitoring forecast accuracy and bias, and identifying improvement opportunities to improve the organization’s demand planning maturity
- Responsible for leading and coaching a DRP manager to set up responsive deployment strategies for finished goods inventory across 3 rd party warehouses
- Define a MTS/MTO an inventory stocking strategy for manufacturing items that aligns business growth initiatives with supply constraints
- Implement the consensus plan for distribution network study
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction or optimization within the distribution network
- Utilize RCCP (Rough Cut Capacity Plan) from a new demand planning process to drive production planning at each manufacturing site
- Introduce best practices in production and raw material planning through MRP modules
- Identify opportunities to optimize inventory of raw materials and finished goods
- Develop key KPI’s and metrics monitoring production adherences and OEE. Set up communication protocols for planned and unplanned downtimes. Work with the planner to identify improvement opportunities to streamline and illuminate non-value-added activities in planning.
- Responsible for creating the master production schedule and rough-cut capacity plans for the six manufacturing sites and presenting monthly at Supply IBP meeting.
- Ownership for the Supply Phase of IBP Process.
- Lead monthly Supply Review Meetings with multiple manufacturing plants.
- Drive production planning, distribution requirements planning, material requirements planning, and inventory planning through the ERP tool.
- Business owner for supply and inventory planning parameters.
- Balance demand and supply to meet service level expectations and achieve inventory targets.
- Monitor production plan adherence to address gaps and tradeoffs with operations.
- Ownership for Planning & Logistics metrics dashboard and reports published in business intelligence tool.
- Serve as the gatekeeper for the Planning & Logistics KPIs.
- Improve decision-making analytics within the supply chain.
- Identify information gaps and bridge those gaps through process design, systems design and implementation, and re-engineering in partnership with IT.
- Responsible for analyzing planning, logistics, and financial data to recommend improvements in supply chain service, flexibility, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Develop "what if" scenarios to determine optimized inventory settings and potential impact on service, warehouse space, and production requirements.
- Create "what if" scenarios for different warehouse/production alternatives.
- Balancing service with cost, recommends the best approach for serving our customers.
- Provide expertise and coaching in supply chain planning and execution within an ERP software
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the End-to-End supply chain process
- Continuously identify best practices and work with the cross functional teams to implement process changes

A COMBINATION OF THE LISTED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED
- BS in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or another technical field.
- Minimum 7 years of supply chain experience, with at least 3 years of experience in supply planning.
- Knowledge in all aspects of planning, with a deep understanding of supply planning (MPS, DRP, MRP) and inventory management.
- Strong systems/ERP background with detailed understanding of how to configure master data setting to optimize planning.
- Ability to mine data , visualize, and formulate insights and decisions on said data, that ultimately inform, educate, and impact multiple functions.
- Previous experience leading supply chain projects is beneficial.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
