Position
Objective :
Maintain overall plant cleanliness for all non-production and administration areas on a predefined schedule. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Operations
Remove and discard garbage from all non-production areas on a daily basis
Assist in cleans or spills in inventoried areas
Clean floors, walls and ceilings in non-production areas
Maintain outside facility including building and grounds including dumpster area
Clean and replace filter medias window screens exhaust screens, etc. on a predefined schedule
Maintain cleanliness of smoking area including regular maintenance of butt stations
Clean and maintain white perimeter lines throughout facility
Clean and maintain pedestrian pathway throughout facility
Clean warehouse area ceiling fans throughout facility
Clean and maintain break rooms in facility including administration area
Clean and maintain locker rooms
Clean and maintain restrooms throughout facility including administration area
Clean and maintain conference rooms throughout facility
Clean and maintain laboratory and adjoining office areas
Operate floor scrubber and high lift as needed
Maintain inventory of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Quality Control
Maintain Glass, Plastic and Ceramic Register
Stock and maintain GMP and PPE stations throughout plant
Maintain inventory of GMP and PPE supplies
Maintain Master Sanitation records for compliance with SQF regulations
Maintain wash stations with soap and paper towels
Safety
Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures to perform work duties in a safe manner including LOTO, working from heights and using hand tools
Identify and report potential safety hazards to appropriate management representative
Serve on the safety committee
Perform and document monthly fire extinguisher inspections
Perform and document weekly eye wash and safety showers
Maintain and stock first aid kits
Human Resources
Comply with HR policies and procedures
Comply with relevant employee laws
Team Skills
Engage in team meetings and other team processes
Attend and actively participate in the MBU processes
Establish and work towards Sanitation KPIs

Qualifications
A COMBINATION OF THE LISTED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED
High School diploma or general educational development (GED)
Must be able to read and write English
Basic math skills
Experience in a food manufacturing environment
OSHA certified fork truck and scissor lift driver
Detail oriented
Basic computer skills

Normal hours 5 : 00 A.M - 1 : 30 P.M.
Schedule may vary
Some overtime will be required
WORKING CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, hear, use extremities
The position will require bending, reaching, climbing and balancing
The position will require working in both controlled and uncontrolled climates
The employee may be required to lift and / or move up to 100 lbs
The employee will be working with basic hand tools, screw drivers, wrenches, etc.
The employee vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working near moving mechanical parts
The employee will work in areas that processes allergens
