What are the responsibilities and job description for the Calibration Technician position at AB Staffing Corporation?
At this client, you won’t just make parts. The pieces and parts that you make are for the highly scrutinized Aerospace, Defense, Robotics, and Oil and Gas Industries and will be subject to rigorous specifications determined by the client(s). Because there are tight specifications, the work will make runs of a few dozen parts rather than a few thousand. We’ve calculated there are more than 500 unique set-ups for our clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor the use of inspection equipment to ensure it is accurate and well-maintained (and quarantine / discard any that doesn’t meet requirements).
- Monitor and maintain calibration schedules for in-house gages.
- Complete calibration of in-house gages.
- When necessary, establish, develop and maintaining calibration vendor relationships.
- Prepare and submit calibration reports into the system.
