We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN physician to provide temporary coverage at one of our esteemed healthcare facilities in the Outer Banks, NC area.
Job Description: This position involves providing medical care to patients requiring obstetric and gynecological services. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine check-ups, delivering babies, and performing various procedures associated with OB/GYN care.
Requirements:
- Degree in Medicine (MD) or equivalent qualification
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Current license to practice medicine in NC
- Experience in performing OB/GYN procedures, including C-sections and vaginal deliveries
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) system EPIC
Work Schedule: The selected candidate will be required to work on a variable schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

About Our Facility
The hospital where this position is based has 24/7 pediatric hospitalist availability, 26 critical beds, and an on-site radiologist. Additionally, we have 24-hour laboratory availability and emergency support from ECU Health Air and Ground Transfer Services.
