AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Audiologist in Spanaway, WA that is available for the 2024 / 2025 school year.
Pay :
- $60 / hr. and up based on experience.
- Different pay packages offered based on your needs.
- Weekly gross on 37.5-40 hours : $2,250 - $2,400.
Job Description :
- Caseload and details of position / classroom type will differ based on school location - Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset.
- Contract through the 2024 / 2025 school year 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
- Contract follows the academic district calendar.
Essential Functions :
- Provide a full range of audiology services for students to determine type and degree of hearing impairment and implements habilitation and rehabilitation services for students.
- Provide assessments and diagnoses to students and families, setting outcomes and implementing actions to meet patient and family needs, evaluate patient progress toward desired outcomes through the use of sound clinical decision-making practices.
- Educate patients and families regarding audiological wellness.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Audiology from an accredited college or university.
- ESA certification with SLP endorsement.
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License.
- Access to personal transportation and ability to travel between multiple schools in the district.
- Strong knowledge of audiological principles, practices, standards, and techniques.
- Knowledge of state and federal laws concerning the provision of health care in public schools and knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding students in special education.
