Key Responsibilities
- Mental Health Services: Provide individual and group counseling sessions for students, addressing various emotional, social, and behavioral concerns.
- Assessment and Consultation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and challenges, and consult with teachers and parents to develop strategies for academic and social success.
- Consultation and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with school teams to develop and implement mental health programs, policies, and procedures that promote student well-being and achievement.
Requirements
- Certification: Certified School Psychologist (CSP) or Licensed Psychologist (LP)
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience working in a school setting as a psychologist or related field
- Licensure: Valid licensure in the state of North Carolina
