POSITION TITLE : LICENSED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (BCBA, LBA-MI)
DEPARTMENT : CLINICAL SERVICES
REPORTS TO : AREA MANAGER
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION
Licensed Behavior Analysts are responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating behavioral health treatment services for individuals diagnosed with autism. This includes using a variety of behavioral and skill assessments to develop meaningful treatment programs that decrease barriers to learning, increase opportunities for growth and positively impact the quality of life of the individuals served. In addition to clinical service delivery, the LBA will provide training and supervision for behavioral technicians and collaborate with external and internal treatment team members.

Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and various skills assessmentsDesign and develop individualized behavior programsEnsure adherence to company therapeutic standards of excellenceDevelop electronic data collection measures for all levels of treatment programsMonitor client progress, complete data decision analysis, update / revise treatment planProvide caregiver education and support (essential component of therapy)Maintain consistent, reliable schedule with clientsProvide appropriate amount and scope of case supervision, facilitating desired clinical outcomesProvide timely responses to the needs of families in a supportive, therapeutic mannerMaintain regular and effective communication with all stakeholdersEnsures that all stakeholders including families, paraprofessionals, caregivers and funding sources are satisfied with services, including problem-solving and resolution of concerns, timely reporting issues, and follow up on identified resolutionsOTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Master's Degree with BCBA CertificationAt least one (1) year experience completing comprehensive assessments and behavior support plans, with preference given to individuals with previous Intellectual Developmental Disability (IDD) and / or autism experienceMust pass a criminal background check, Recipient Rights background check and others as requiredMust complete additional training after employment including but not limited to company in-services and required funding source trainingsMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting and standing) for extended periods of timeMust be willing to sit on the floor for extended periods of timeMust be willing to work in various environments to perform therapy such as home, schools, centers and community settingsMust be willing to drive within a 30-60-mile radius as needed for treatment of clients in the home, community and school settingsValid Driver's License and proof of insurance requiredMust have reliable access to email and phone contactPREFERRED EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS
