Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral therapy and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and autism (ages 2-21). As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing support to clients and their families. Seeking BCBA's for clients in the Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres and Naples areas.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to determine individual needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide direct/indirect supervision to behavioral therapists assigned to cases.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide training and support to caregivers and staff on behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Monitor client progress through regular data collection and analysis, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Advocate for clients' needs within the community and provide resources for families navigating behavioral health services.
Experience
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders.
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques and patient care methodologies.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and patient assessment tools.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical records management.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
