Position Overview: ABA Path is excited to announce the opening of our new location and is seeking a dedicated BCBA or BCaBA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and providing direct support to clients and their families.
Location: (Flagler & Volusia counties) This role will involve working in homes, communities, and schools within Flagler and Volusia counties, with plans to expand to a clinic in the future. We also have an established clinic in the Tampa Bay area, offering services across various settings, including homes, schools, work placements, and communities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to determine behavioral needs and develop treatment plans for each client
- Provide behavioral therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Implement behavior intervention strategies and techniques
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collect and analyze data to measure treatment outcomes
- Provide training and support to caregivers and other professionals
Requirements
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) or (BCaBA) is required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred (minimum 1 year).
- Proficiency in medical documentation practices and understanding of HIPAA regulations.
- Strong skills in data collection, patient assessment, and analysis.
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and applied behavior analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding of client needs.
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
