Position Overview :
ABA SHINE is seeking a highly experienced and passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as the Behavior Respite Program Director. This role combines clinical expertise with program leadership to support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families through effective respite services. As the Program Director, you will design, oversee, and ensure the quality of behavior respite services, with a focus on utilizing evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Program Leadership :
- Establish and maintain program goals, policies, and procedures to enhance service delivery.
- Monitor the effectiveness of program outcomes through data collection, analysis, and feedback from stakeholders.
- Team Management :
- Design behavior support plans tailored to clients' needs and supervise their implementation fidelity.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to care.
- Provide clinical supervision to staff, ensuring fidelity in the implementation of interventions.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of clinicians, BCBAs, Program Supervisors, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and other staff providing respite services.
- Provide ongoing professional development opportunities and performance feedback to team members.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Caregiver and Staff Training :
- Ensure staff are equipped to support clients effectively in both direct and indirect roles.
- Reporting and Compliance :
- Submit timely reports to funding sources such as the Regional Center.
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines set forth by the BACB and other governing bodies.
- Direct Client Interaction :
- Conduct regular field visits to observe sessions, provide feedback, and ensure quality control.
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience working as a BCBA, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven expertise in conducting behavioral assessments, designing interventions, and supervising ABA programs.
- Strong knowledge of respite care services and experience with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and evidence-based decision-making.

Develop and oversee the behavior respite program to ensure alignment with clinical best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Train, coach, and lead a qualified clinical team to conduct or oversee intake assessments, functional behavior assessments (FBA), and individualized treatment planning.
Deliver caregiver training on behavior management strategies and skill-building techniques.
Maintain accurate documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and behavior plans, using designated software tools.
Provide direct services as needed, particularly for complex cases, to model techniques for caregivers and staff.

Compensation and Benefits :
Full-Time Salary Range : $98,000–$110,000 annually, based on experience. Part-Time Hourly Rate : $60–$70 per hour.
