What is the position?
ABA Solutions, Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to assist full time in a fast-paced office setting. The Billing/Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for completing billing, posting payments, and completing copay/coinsurance invoices. They will also be responsible for contacting insurance companies and credentialing staff. Applicant must have at least two years of experience in medical billing and collections, have experience working in Microsoft Word and Excel, be a fast learner, be detail oriented, and reliable.
Duties:
- Billing
- Contacting insurance companies
- Client invoicing
- Posting payments
- Maintaining spreadsheets
- Providing support to the Office Administrator in various projects/tasks
- Maintaining confidentiality according to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have two years of experience in insurance billing and collections
- Must have experience with general office skills: Filing, phone/email etiquette, working collaboratively with other office personnel
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Microsoft Excel
- Can learn quickly under the direction of the Office Manager/Administrator
- Must have excellent skills related to attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking
- Must be reliable and able to work consistently
Additional Skills:
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but is not required
Hours:
- 40 hours per week
