As an instructional aide you'll perform instructional , monitorial, clerical and physical assistance in a supportive role to meet the special needs and programs of an assigned client/clients. Provide one to one attention to an assigned client based upon plans which may include but are not limited to, behavioral plans, daily living skills, executive functioning, organizational skills, data collection.

In this role you will also be expected to supervise clients in planned activities and assist in monitoring client progress, assist clients in the orderly, safe and efficient transition between activities with attention to special client needs, provide feedback concerning client progress, behavior and incidents, assist with client record keeping.
The successful candidate must also be able to meet the physical demands of the position and be able to work in an environment with frequent interruptions, be able to communicate effectively, must be able to organize tasks and be able to make appropriate decisions under a high level of stress
Requirements
Qualifications:
1. A high school diploma or GED equivalent AND
2. Necessary Clearances/Certificate of Clearances: Pa Child Abuse History, Pa Criminal History and Federal Criminal History Clearance and one or more of the following:
- Possess an associate's degree or higher OR
- Meet a rigorous standard of quality as demonstrated through a State or local assessment OR
- Secure a "Para Educator Credential of Competency" as issued by the PDE
