Our client is a real estate firm. They seek a Bookkeeper to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Input and process monthly payroll
- Run bills and maintain the check voucher system
- Oversee and maintain the purchase order system
- Prepare journal entries and monthly bank reconciliations
- Handle data entry in Quickbooks Online
- Create financial statements and handle misc. bookkeeping work
- Assist with accounts receivable and payable
- Support calendar maintenance, emails, and filing
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2 years of Full Charge Bookkeeping experience
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Team-oriented and collaborative demeanor
- Proactive and able to anticipate situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and accurate
- Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality
- Advanced Excel and QuickBooks skills
