Our client is a family office. They seek a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Pay bills by reviewing them for accuracy, ensuring compliance with client approval processes
- Code payments to appropriate general ledger accounts and establish automatic payment schedules
- Prepare client financial statements by creating quarterly finance statements
- Reconcile transactions, research variances, and make adjustments as needed
- Process financial transactions by tracking expenses, filing bills, and conducting account reconciliations
- Manage household payroll processing, monitor charitable contributions, and deposit checks
- Provide quality customer service to all clients by tracking inquiries and researching requests
- Update general ledger accounts, adjust cash flow to meet client needs, and prepare client payroll tax returns
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized, analytical, and driven demeanor
- Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in Excel (V lookup and Pivots)
