Our client is an asset management firm. They seek a Internal/External Wholesaler to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust product and asset class knowledge and demonstrate ongoing interest in the industry
- Present the firm’s products and services to identify the benefits of the products relative to competitors
- Provide advisors with technical information, demonstrating a strong knowledge of the financial markets
- Work with Regional Director to help penetrate new markets and deepen existing relationships
- Contribute to achieving top-tier market share at the territory level, focusing on key RIAs and products
- Collaborate closely and communicate effectively with the Sales Management team
- Uphold performance standards and work towards business unit objectives with integrity and efficiency
- Drive sales through proactive solicitation via email and phone to supplement external sales activities
- Maintain inbound and outbound client support, including helping service clients and qualifying prospects
- Mine databases and sales reports to assist senior relationship managers in managing their territories
Requirements
- 4 years of investment services experience
- Exposure to the RIA market
- Experience driving sales and managing a pipeline
- Organized and process-driven approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative, team-focused, and motivated
- Series 7 and 66 required
- Skilled in Outlook and Word
