Public Relations / Media Relations Associate

Our client is an asset management firm seeking a Public Relations / Media Relations Associate to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Base Pay Range : $100,000.00 / yr - $115,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities :

Build relationships with financial, investing, and reporters across print and broadcast outlets.
Create proactive communication plans that align with the firm’s commercial priorities.
Draft written materials, including press releases, executive briefings, and statements.
Support media campaigns for the firm’s products, including mutual funds, interval funds, etc.
Partner directly with investment teams to develop and align messaging for each asset class.
Design regular media training for investment professionals and spokespeople in the firm.
Manage and leverage social media platforms to enhance outreach and engagement.
Assist with media monitoring, analysis, and reporting to provide timely updates and insights.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.

4 years of public relations experience.

Prior experience with financial clients.

Must have a network in media relations and know who to call.

Understanding of investment topics / philosophy.

Media relations experience working with finance, investment, and CSR.

Organized and able to manage multiple projects.

Skilled in Monday.com, SharePoint, and MS Office.
