Our client is a global alternative asset manager. They seek a Senior Accountant to join their Dallas, TX office.
Responsibilities
- Record journal entries for daily cash activities to ensure cash balances are up to date
- Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliations
- Produce and process wires and intercompany book transfers
- Complete detailed reconciliations and provide flux explanations of general ledger accounts
- Communicate with IT regarding fixed assets and maintain FAM within NetSuite
- Post underlying fund revenues and GP investment MTM, capital calls, and distributions
- Assist with CLO quarterly dividend and income reconciliation and reporting automation
- Maintain monthly and quarterly AUM as well as non-fee-paying AUM
- Handle placement fees as well as rebate wires and postings
- Understand ASC 842 lease accounting and applicable journal entries to record
Requirements
- 2 years of accounting experience
- Public or combo accounting background
- Fund accounting experience preferred
- Excellent communications skills
- Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
- CPA strongly preferred
- Skilled in NetSuite
