Job Summary
As a Sr Systems Engineer, you will help Architect and Maintain our Data Center platform for our clients based in the financial services industry. With a keen insight into emergent best practices stemming from a solid foundation on virtualization technologies, you will bolster the technical skillset of our team. This is not an Administrator position where most of your time will be spent provisioning user licenses. You will be part of a team that serves the very core of our infrastructure and will be challenged to provide solutions that are tailored to our clients, while also being transparent and supportable by the organization.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to the following) :
Scope, implement and support new technology projects / initiatives / onboardings
Management of various multi-tenant platforms in a team environment
Respond and action alerts from centralized management system
Work with remote support teams and respond to escalated issues in a timely fashion
Provide off hours support on a rotating schedule every 1-2 months

Strong Technical Skills in the following areas :
Citrix Netscaler
Vmware ESXi / vCenter
Azure (Cloud Technologies)
Storage (PureStorage / Nimble)
Proxmox VE
CheckMK
Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
Linux
Highly logical thinker and skilled in identifying root cause and solutions
Must be able to work both independently and in project teams
Ability to work under pressure and with short deadlines
Ability to mitigate risk and engage other team members when needed
Must have availability to occasionally work nights and some weekends
Qualifications
Strong technical skills with public cloud technologies, Azure specifically
Minimum 8 years' experience in a system engineering role
