Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Tax Director to join their Real Estate group in their Stamford, CT office.
Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare tax returns for closely held businesses and their owners
- Develop new and existing client relationships and knowledge of client’s businesses
- Work closely with Tax Partners to satisfy the needs of planning compliance
- Understand and manage firm risk on tax services performed
- Prepare research memoranda, written correspondence, and other documents
- Manage multiple clients, budgets, and production goals
- Supervise, train, and guide tax associates and senior associates
- Analyze and resolve tax notices with federal and state tax authorities
- Stay up to date on new and changing tax legislation
