Our client is a family office. They seek a Tax Preparer to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Prepare federal and multi-state tax returns for HNW/individuals, corporations, partnerships, etc.
- Research and assess various tax issues related to tax compliance and tax planning duties
- Calculate quarterly and year-end tax projections using BNA tax software
- Produce and review sales tax returns and payroll tax returns
- Draft correspondence to the IRS and other government agencies regarding various tax issues
- Complete and review financial statements for entities & individuals
Requirements
- 3 years of tax experience
- HNW clients or partnerships experience
- Familiar with foundations and gift tax
- Public and/or private accounting background
- CPA strongly preferred
- Skilled in Excel
