We are seeking a seasoned Tax Principal to join our Melville, NY office.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and make informed business decisions.
- Manage staff assignments and workflow within the group.
- Communicate with firm members to ensure client satisfaction.
- Calculate client billings and monitor receivables.
- Implement policies to increase productivity and fees without compromising morale.
- Visit clients' offices to conduct work and ensure compliance with procedures.
- Enhance existing client relationships and develop new ones.
- Participate in speaking engagements and stay up-to-date on services provided.
Requirements:
- 10 years of tax/accounting experience.
- Prior public accounting background preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous managerial experience or CPA certification highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Excel required.
