Our client is a non-profit organization. They seek a VP, Communications and Branding to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Execute an extensive communications and branding strategy that promotes the mission
- Guide executive decisions on communications, brand positioning, and public relations
- Develop and maintain a consistent and compelling brand identity across all platforms
- Communicate the organization’s brand through marketing, digital channels, events, and PR
- Maintain strong relationships with media outlets to enhance the organization’s reputation
- Oversee a comprehensive digital strategy, including social media and website management
- Implement internal communications strategies to ensure staff and stakeholder engagement
- Design a crisis communication plan, ensuring the organization is prepared to respond to crises
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, community leaders, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, etc.
- 10 years of communications, public relations, or brand management experience
- Proven track record of campaign management and communication strategies
- Experience with strategic planning, team development, and decision-making
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, analytical, with keen attention to detail
- Skilled in Adobe, Google Analytics, and CRM platforms
