Our client is a law firm. They seek a Well-Being and Benefits Generalist to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the point of contact and respond to questions regarding firm benefits
- Learn and understand benefits eligibility rules for all health and welfare plans
- Answer benefits questions using appropriate Well-Being and Benefits resources
- Uphold understanding of the programs offered by the firm and enrollment deadlines
- Promote the value-added benefits of the firm to increase awareness and participation
- Contribute to the investigation and settlement of insurance claim disputes
- Build relations with insurance carriers by handling the administration of group plans
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or relevant field
- 3 years of employee benefits administration experience
- Knowledge of the terms of health and welfare plans
- Broad understanding of benefit practices
- Professional and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in MS Office Suite
