The Controller's main focus will be on the daily planning, execution, and oversight of all financial activities within the organization. A strong understanding of financial management is essential, including knowledge of USGAAP compliance, tax laws, and banking processes.
- Collaborates with the executive leadership team to shape and implement the company's financial strategy.
- Develops annual financial goals that support the company's growth and expansion plans.
- Manages project funding, anticipates future revenue requirements, evaluates potential revenue sources, and optimizes cash flow.
- Guarantees accurate and prompt closing of financial records on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Oversees financial reporting, job reporting, and the general ledger management process.
- Delivers accurate revenue and job cost reports for ongoing projects, utilizing knowledge of percentage of completion accounting.
- Supervises Project Administration (Project Coordinators), Office Administration, Accounts Payable, and Payroll / HR functions.
- Ensures adherence to sales tax regulations across various jurisdictions and leads the annual financial statement review with an external CPA firm for timely tax filings. Job Type : Full-time Dental insurance
