We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operator to join our team. Duties
- Safely operate vehicles, including school buses, while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Manage behavior effectively among children during transport, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to parents, guardians, and school staff, addressing any concerns or inquiries professionally.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure mechanical reliability.
- Assist in planning and coordinating transportation schedules as needed.
- Communicate clearly with both English-speaking and bilingual individuals to foster an inclusive environment.
Experience
- Previous experience as a van driver or school bus driver is preferred.
- Background in childcare or experience working with children is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with basic vehicle maintenance is a plus.
- Proven customer service skills, demonstrating the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people.
