Forklift Operator/Material Handler

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping and receiving. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and quality while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage stock levels accurately.
• Operate cherry pickers and cranes safely to retrieve and store products as needed.
• Perform picking and packing duties, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain an organized warehouse environment by following established procedures for shipping, receiving, and storage.
• Assist with the implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for improved operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and adhere to OSHA standards to promote a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline order fulfillment processes and improve overall productivity.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of order fulfillment processes, shipping, and receiving operations is beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong attention to detail.
• A commitment to safety protocols and procedures within the warehouse setting is essential.
