Note : This environment is very dusty and candidate will be sweeping and shoveling feed.
Must be able to do the following :
- Repeatedly lift up to pounds.
- Have good knees! There is a lot of walking and going up and down stairs. They may be walking up to flights of stairs (not all at once but throughout the duration of their shift). There is an elevator for moving heavy items from floor to floor.
- This environment is very dusty and they will be sweeping and shoveling feed.
- This is a housekeeping position in a dust environment.
Job Description : Must be able to follow direction & perform repetitive production activities. All training and instructions typically given on the job. Proficiency is attained in a short time on the job. Skills : Must be able to repeatedly lift up to pounds. Basic Math. Ability to follow oral and written instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and in group situations. Ability to pass forklift training test. WORKERS WILL NOT OPERATE FORKLIFT. Ability to work on feet for prolonged periods of time in a fast paced environment. Ability to follow instruction. Knowledge : Knowledge and compliance of all safety guidelines. Knowledge of basic math, counting, etc. May occasionally use company computer equipment & systems. Education : high school diploma or equivalent Steel Toed Shoes Required.
