Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and an eye for detail, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests, whether in a hotel or residential setting. Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities.
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust, dirt, and debris.
• Manage laundry services including washing, drying, and folding linens.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist with floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing as needed.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to uphold quality standards.
• Respond promptly to guest requests regarding housekeeping needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial work is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care practices is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.
