Inventory Control Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock records, and optimizing the supply chain process. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management and distribution center operations, along with strong analytical skills to support financial analysis and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations.
• Utilize MRP systems to forecast demand and manage stock replenishment.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely ordering of materials and supplies.
• Analyze data mining reports to identify trends in inventory usage and optimize order fulfillment processes.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality control and timely deliveries.
• Implement category management strategies to enhance product availability and reduce excess stock.
• Prepare reports on inventory performance metrics for management review.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse management or working within a distribution center environment.
• Familiarity with MRP systems and inventory management software.
• Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Experience in supplier management and procurement processes is highly desirable.
• Proficient in data mining techniques for effective decision-making related to inventory control.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $26.00 per hour
