Duties
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and experiments following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Prepare specimens for analysis, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results
- Assist in the development and validation of new laboratory techniques
- Adhere to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve laboratory processes
- Document findings accurately in laboratory records, ensuring compliance with quality control standards
- Stay updated on advancements in laboratory techniques and methodologies
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques, particularly in a clinical or research laboratory setting
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and animal physiology is preferred
- Experience in microbiology and understanding of related laboratory practices is advantageous
- Proficiency in math skills for accurate data analysis and calculations
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain meticulous records
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members
- A degree or certification in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory
