Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility by performing maintenance and repair tasks on various systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, particularly in HVAC/R, logic controllers, and industrial mechanics, along with the ability to analyze schematics and troubleshoot complex issues.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on HVAC systems and other critical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Weld and fabricate components as necessary for repairs or modifications.
- Analyze schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
- Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide insights on equipment functionality and maintenance needs.
- Provide field service support as required, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Train junior maintenance staff on best practices and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Maintenance Person or in a similar role within a manufacturing facility.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, logic controllers, and industrial mechanics.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Ability to weld and perform basic fabrication tasks.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and technical sales personnel.
- A proactive approach to safety, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations within the facility.
