Strong teamwork skills are required as well as the ability to have a self-directed work ethic.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Occasional lifting, bending and twisting of various range and motion requiring physical exertion when handling materials, drums or equipmentAbility to lift poundsAbility to stand and walk in work environment majority of timeFrequent use of stairs requiredOccasional use of respiratory protection including air purifying, air supplied and self-contained air supplied respirators. Accept personal responsibility to act according to process safety regulations and company directives. Demonstrate understanding of primary hazards in work area and the safeguards in place to manage them. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
High School Diploma
Experience in the operation of powered industrial equipment, specifically, forklifts and yard tractors.
PRIOR PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS :
Hazardous Materials Handling Certification CFR (preferred but not required)
PAST WORK EXPERIENCE :
Material handling, forklift and yard tractor operation, and experience with handling chemicals preferred. Strong teamwork skills are required as well as the ability to have a self-directed work ethic.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
Loading and off-loading and packaged materials
Staging materials to support production
Operating powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and yard tractors
Familiarity with material handling safety / hygiene issues
Maintain assigned inspections and housekeeping duties
Computer skills to accomplish training opportunities
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Ability to lift pounds
Ability to stand and walk in work environment majority of time
