Mentors will help mentees develop leadership skills, navigate career progression, and avoid career plateaus. The Mentor / Facilitator will also participate in group mentoring sessions and hosted events, offering insights and facilitating discussions on key professional development topics.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct a minimum of one-on-one mentoring sessions (- minutes each) with assigned mentees.
Match mentees with external mentors based on career goals and development needs.
Facilitate one group mentoring session, focusing on leadership and career advancement topics such as personal branding, receiving feedback, and prioritizing goals.
Participate in three program events : Kick-Off / Orientation, Midpoint Review, and Closing Event.
Provide career advancement guidance and support mentees in achieving their individual development goals.
Administer and provide feedback on self-assessment instruments. Skill set info Senior-level leadership experience (SES-level or equivalent), preferably in government or a public sector organization.
Proven track record of mentoring mid-level and senior professionals.
Strong facilitation skills and ability to lead discussions on leadership, career development, and professional growth.
Experience with leadership assessment tools (, assessments).
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.
Ability to provide constructive feedback and guide mentees in achieving career goals.
Certification in executive coaching or leadership development is a plus.
