Job Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels within the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing inventory processes, ensuring the efficient flow of goods, and collaborating with various departments to optimize supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and have experience in inventory management systems.

Duties

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to forecast demand and manage replenishment processes.
• Utilize analytics to assess inventory performance and recommend improvements.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline operations.
• Assist in purchasing activities, including buying decisions and contract management.
• Maintain organized inventory storage areas, ensuring easy access and efficient use of space.
• Perform heavy lifting as required to facilitate inventory movement and organization.

Skills

• Proficiency in inventory control techniques and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for decision-making.
• Experience with supply chain management and logistics operations.
• Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of 3PL operations is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.71 per hour
