Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing processes and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality products.
Duties
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize quality management systems to document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
- Familiarize yourself with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, CGMP, and FDA regulations to ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Perform research data collection and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Operate precision measuring instruments, including coordinate measuring machines (CMM), to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Participate in internal audits and assist in the development of quality control procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on quality control practices and standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality inspection or a related field, with a strong understanding of quality control principles.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, CGMP, and FDA regulations is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software, including Calypso for measurement analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
