POSITION SUMMARY
Data Entry Specialist :
The Diversity Programs Department is responsible for working with various departments & agencies to document contract information. The information is currently in a digital database, but the reporting structure has been updated. Various digital files will need to be input into the new digital format within the 2-month period.
SCOPE OF SERVICES :
Diversity Programs requires the use of staffing agencies, which can expeditiously source one temporary, full-time Data Entry Specialist. The agencies will provide Data Entry Specialist that will review physical and electronic data and accurately enter it into CTA's database known as LCPtracker. The Data Entry Specialist will also work with internal resources to manage data from various areas of Diversity Programs for the Authority.
Scope to include primary focuses :
- Multilevel professional communication between departments.
- Using MS Word, Excel, Access and various office applications.
- Utilize CTA's LCPtracker to enter historical data from various CTA departments.
- Transfer Data from hard copy to digital database.
- Verify outdated data and make necessary changes to records.
- ccuracy and attention to detail.
- Verify Data integrity and document progress of project.
DELIVERABLES :
Telework may be required. The Data Entry Specialist are required to provide their own computer and reliable Internet access if telework is required.
INTENDED OUTCOME :
The work and deliverables of these Data Entry Specialist will result in housing all Diversity Programs contract workforce data in one central location known as the LCPtracker.
CANDIDATE REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILL :
The Full Time, temporary Data Entry Specialist will have proven data entry ability. They will have experience working in Microsoft Office applications and LCPtracker database systems (preferred, but not required). They will have a sense of urgency with their work and respect deadlines. The requested candidate will have a work history which shows that they produce error-free work in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment. Their history will show that they can communicate professionally with all levels within an organization, possess project management skills and that they receive feedback well and can incorporate that feedback into a finished product.
LOCATION OF WORK :
The activities described in this proposal will predominately occur at CTA HQ 567 W. Lake St. In this role, the Data Entry Specialist will not be exposed to safety-sensitive work areas.
CONTRACT PERIOD :
This contract is for one Full-time, temporary Data Entry Specialist for up to two months.
