What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Abacus Solution Group?
The Machine Operator position is responsible for all functions related to the daily production output. This position will require the use of computers, CAD programs, basic hand tools, and measurement instruments.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Program, setup and operate a CNC Press Brake, preferably Amada or Trumpf
- Communicate with production leads
- Inspect production parts
- Maintain work area and ensure a clean, safe work environment
- Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality
- Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and endure duties of high-quality standards
