Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced and strategic Recommerce Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in selling products in secondary sales channels, both wholesale (B2B) and consumer (B2C). This role will be crucial in commercializing our software capabilities for reselling returned products, identifying the best sales channels, and refining our software to enhance its effectiveness. The Recommerce Expert will think strategically about our recommerce program and business model, ensuring an unbiased analysis of sales options and optimal product movement based on that analysis.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain relationships with wholesale (B2B) and consumer (B2C) sales channels.
- Utilize our AI-based software to determine the optimal sales channel for returned products and identify the best platform for B2C sales.
- Provide input for our product teams to ensure ideal listing prices on various platforms to ensure quick and profitable sales.
- Oversee the performance and results of our recommerce programs.
- Identify and establish partnerships with innovative companies that can help enhance our overall recommerce capabilities.
- Monitor industry trends and market conditions to ensure our solutions remain innovative, competitive and effective.
- Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for selling returned products in secondary markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving our recommerce processes and software capabilities.
- Think strategically about our recommerce program and business model, ensuring an unbiased analysis of sales options in secondary channels.
- Identify potential partners to provide inputs for our fair market analyses and execute strategies to achieve the pricing predicted by our models.
- Develop and use metrics to measure the success of our recommerce program, including sales performance, market penetration, and customer satisfaction.
- Continuously analyze program metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
