The Department of Administrative Services is looking for a Claims Adjuster

Schedule : Monday- Friday 8 : 00AM-5 : 00PM, Hybrid

20 / hour

Job Responsibilities :

Review and process property damage & total loss claims.

Determines eligibility based on established guidelines.

Prepares accurate case summary reports from collected data and researched results.

Serves as subject matter expert on Auto Claims Program providing technical support to applicants on the policies and procedures used when filing a claim.

Process payments for claims to vendors.

Reviews invoices for accuracy.

Maintains a consistent, high-quality, customer-focused orientation when conducting business and providing services or products to clients, the general public and other external customers.

Investigating, evaluating, and settling property claims involving damage to buildings, structures, contents, and / or property damage

Review of property estimates to determine if costs are appropriate for damage

Assigning claim recovery & subrogation

Evaluate claims policies, endorsements, and carrier instructions to determine coverage

Preferred Qualifications :

Must have a claims adjuster license

More than Two years claims experience or total loss experience

Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
