Maintenance Tech
1st Shift- North Charleston
28-$33 an hour overtime
Direct Hire Permanent Placement Role
The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for the overall working condition of shop equipment and tools. Must have a strong mechanical background and basic knowledge of repair / maintenance of manufacturing equipment used in the metal fabrication industry.
Responsibilities :
- Perform scheduled maintenance on all shop equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair down machines and report findings
- Maintain work area and ensure a clean, safe work environment
- Assist with the installation of new tools and equipment
- Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality
- Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and endures duties of high quality standards at all times
