Job Title : Material Handler
Location : Kearny, NJ
1st Shift-7am to 330pm Overtime
18-$20 an hour
Direct Hire Placement Role
Responsibilities :
Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods between storage areas, workstations, and shipping / receiving docks.
Ensure production areas are adequately stocked with required materials.
- Stage materials and supplies as outlined in production schedules or work orders.
Inventory Management :
Track inventory levels and perform cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
Shipping and Receiving Support :
Assist in loading and unloading shipments of materials or finished goods.
Equipment Operation :
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as required.
Documentation and Record Keeping :
Maintain accurate logs of materials moved, inventory adjustments, and production support activities.
Safety and Compliance :
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries.
