Title : Production Supervisor
Location : North Charleston
Shift : 1st & 2nd Shift Roles Available-Direct Hire Role
Pay : $30-$34 a hour Overtime
Job Duties :
- Monitors production floor operations on a daily basis and actively assists or provides direction to floor staff as needed.
- Supervises a variety of assembly operations to assemble sub-assemblies and products
- Oversees the electrical and mechanical assembly of parts and components
- Reviews assembly procedures and makes necessary changes to them to increase quality and efficiency
- Schedules assignments and acts as technical advisor to Production Floor staff
- Train new employees
- Evaluates the performance of assigned employees
- Conducts quality and time studies and generates individual quality reports
- Inputs data into Production quality data base system
- Ensures and verifies documentation is in order and understood, such as production drawings, BOM’s, work order travelers
- Performs a variety of assembly operations on electronic and / or mechanical assemblies such as modules, boards, panels and cables
- Responsible for quality as related to job duties, and has the authority to address issues of quality at any level
