Job Summary
The Records & Information Technician is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining records and information systems to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves data entry, document management, and providing support for records requests while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic records in accordance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Process, file, and retrieve documents efficiently to support operational needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of records management procedures and retention schedules.
- Perform data entry, scanning, and indexing of documents into record management systems.
- Respond to internal and external records requests in a timely and secure manner.
- Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits and quality control checks.
- Support compliance efforts by maintaining proper documentation and following industry best practices.
- Assist in training staff on proper records management procedures.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure records are properly maintained and accessible when needed.
