Performs routine cleaning, preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements on public housing units and buildings to ensure safe operations of properties.
Processes work order documentation.
Performs routine grounds, structural, plumbing, appliance, and electrical maintenance
Removes litter and debris from lawns, sidewalks, and streets.
Performs routine painting assignments.
Prepares housing unit for new tenants.
Leads less skilled maintenance staff.
Monitors and assures regulatory compliance and satisfactory performance ratings.
Assists property management in resident evictions.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
HVAC, CMRP, or equivalent certification will be advantageous.
Valid Driver’s License & Driving Record.
Experience in Building Maintenance.
Must provide your own tools.
Must have own reliable transportation.
Must wear safety boots.
Can stand / walk / sit / crouch.
Lift / move up to 70lbs.
Customer Service Skills (to talk to housing residents, staff, supervisors.)
