College of Creative Services is looking for a Business Service Coordinator. This position is an admin assistant / cashier type person. They would need to be extremely confidential as they would see employee pay, legal items, etc. They would also greet customers at the front counter and take payments.

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Business Services Coordinator position is responsible for various accounting and administrative duties in Business Services nd Finance . This position will act primarily as the office coordinator and will provide additional support for purchasing, accounts receivable, collections and the Business Services nd Finance management staff.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, staff and faculty in person, or via phone, text or email;
  • Receipt payments to student accounts and all incoming cash to the college (donations, gifts, third party payments, etc.);
  • Support the management staff of the department with special projects and tasks as needed;
  • Complete administrative tasks such as completing office forms , organizing files , draft / edit letters and set meeting appointments ;
  • Processes the daily sales reports from the Bookstore and Imaging Center and reconciles them to the system;
  • Tracks and enters all New Vendor requests;
  • ssists with the College's collections efforts as the Student Accounts role needs;
  • Distributes student refunds, reimbursements, and payroll checks; assists with unclaimed property escheatment processes;
  • Prepares and mails Non-Sufficient Funds notifications when needed to customers;
  • Rent and distribute locks for College owned lockers; prepare monthly account reconciliations; rotate locks on lockers annually;
  • Cross-trained in Student Accounts functions; answering invoicing questions and sending monthly statements;
  • Perform additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business administration or related area preferred; or equivalent combination of education and work experience;
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and managing files and records and other office procedures at a proficient level;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills;
  • bility to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism;
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities;
  • bility to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.

    Work schedule : Full Time, 35 hours per week

    Work Hours : 8 : 30 - 4 : 30 with an hour lunch

    Job length : be ongoing with the potential for a permanent hire at CCS
