What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Printer Cutter - H position at Abacus?
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Wide Format DTF Automated Cutting Operator to manage, operate and maintain wide format automated cutting machines. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality production aligned with our specifications and timelines, operating equipment from leading printers for large format and direct to film equipment
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain wide format dtf cutting equipment to produce quality print jobs as per job tickets.
- Prepare materials, set up machines, and conduct initial quality checks against proofs.
- Monitor print quality and machine performance, proactively preventing defects or spoilage.
- Maintain production records using the production software system.
- Organize and transfer finished materials to designated areas.
- Keep equipment and workspace clean and orderly.
- Perform routine and ad hoc maintenance on machinery.
- Adhere to safety protocols and assist with additional responsibilities to support production needs.
- Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.
