What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installer position at Abacus?

Level I : Hourly Rate of $15.00 - $18.00 :

Use of a wide-range of industry-standard hand tools and equipment during installation and maintenance.
Ability to read and understand written procedures which apply directly to job duties.
Novice skills and familiarity with typical carpentry hand tools, power tools and applications.
Assists in the operation and maintenance of air compressors and various power and hand tools.
Assists in the handling and installation of show set components in shop and field.
Help handle material, move equipment, jobsite clean-up and utility runner as needed.

Level II : Hourly Rate of $17.00 - $22.00

All tasks above and proficient skills and familiarity with typical carpentry hand tools, power tools and applications.

Reading blueprints / sketches to determine location and methodology of installing components.

Good knowledge of rigging equipment used to connect and secure the load to a lifting device (wire rope slings, nylon slings, eyebolts, U-bolts, and other attachments).

Assist with the rigging operations and preparing the loads to be moved.

Inspect the rigging equipment to ensure it is safe and undamaged and cleaning, dismantling, and storing the rigging equipment after every use.

Level III : Hourly Rate of $20.00 - $25.00

All tasks above and expert skills and familiarity with typical carpentry hand tools, power tools and applications.

Experience with FRP, Carpentry, and Metals.

Applying lath and / or backing using fasteners and hand / power tools.

Assist with rigging and staging.

Coordinating with the other team members when loading and moving goods.

Schedule : Monday - Friday

Pay Rate :

15.00 - $25.00 hourly - PAID WEEKLY
