Responsibilities :
- Coordinates and develops the annual risk-based IT audit plan.
- Plans and conducts IT audits to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of IT controls, compliance with regulatory requirements, security, and privacy of data.
- Coordinates with cross-functional audit teams to evaluate and address IT-related risks and controls within the context of operational and financial audits.
- Identifies and assesses IT-related risks and controls and provides recommendations to mitigate those risks and improve processes.
- Collaborates with management to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, standards, and policies.
- Develops and utilizes Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) and Continuous Auditing Techniques.
- Loads, extracts, merges, and cleans potentially large datasets from a wide variety of data sources in preparation for data analysis. Validates and ensures data integrity. Processes unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis. Ensures all data is kept confidential.
- nalyzes data using statistical and non-statistical techniques and interprets findings. Independently searches for unique patterns and relationships of relevance to any audit, investigation, or legal proceedings. Joins data from multiple sources to identify anomalies and develops automated scripts for the continuous monitoring data analytic program.
- Prepares data reports and uses data visualization techniques to make findings more easily interpretable and memorable, especially for audiences without a background in analytics.
- Prepares written reports of findings and recommendations for improvement and tracks the progress of remediation efforts.
- Monitors emerging technology risks, security threats, and industry trends to ensure audit plans remain relevant and effective.
- Oversees the work of assigned audit staff, providing guidance and coaching to ensure high-quality work.
- Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, to convey complex technical and business concepts to non-technical audiences.
- ssists with special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
